Children are important to Jesus, and they are important to us. We want to help parents in their efforts to connect their kids to Christ. We strive to do this through Nurture, Outreach, and Worship (N.O.W.). Click on colored text for more information about our various ministries.

KidsN.O.W. Bible Study at 9:15  This is where our primary nurture and worship takes place on Sunday. All kids in pre-k through 5th grade start together for music or group activities. Then we move to grade-divided small groups for Bible lesson, review and application to nurture the kids by helping them to relate to Christ and worship him in a way that makes sense for their age. We encourage outreach by engaging in special mission projects at various times during the year.

Kids in Church at 10:30 All kids age 4 through 5th grade are invited to join their parents for worship so they can participate more fully in the body life of our church. We have a special Kids Bulletin (and a treat for those who complete it). We do offer Kids Church during the message for children from age 4 to 2nd grade for families who prefer that option. They will be dismissed from the service just before the sermon. This provides further opportunity for nurture and growth as they continue to learn more about God and His Word.

Nursery and Preschool There is safe, nurturing child care available at both times for infants through age 4.

  • At 9:15, we have an infant class and a 2-4 year old class. Our primary teaching for 2-3 year olds takes place at this time.
  • At 10:30, we have and infant class and a 2-3 year old class. Our 2-3 year old class has a Bible story in addition to free play. Children who are 4 years old are invited to start out in the worship service for singing and then join Kids Church during the message.
